What Service We Provide

Extend Home Healthcare offers a variety of accommodation options, including:

Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)

This is a temporary accommodation for NDIS members who are in the process of relocating to a more permanent accomodation. To prevent people from being unable to find adequate housing, the NDIS covers medium-term housing for up to 90 days.

Who is Eligible for Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)?

MTA is accessible to qualified NDIS participants who need temporary transitional accommodation while waiting for their more permanent home to be approved, ready, or usable.

Short Term Accommodation (STA)

Short-term supported housing is offered through your plan’s Core funding for a period of 2 to 6 weeks.

Respite Accommodation

Extend Home Healthcare offers a variety of short-term respite options, including a few days, a week-long vacation, a monthly weekend getaway, an overnight stay, or a few hours off each week. Our experienced team will assist you with financed activities and, if desired, provide meals for you and your quests.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

SIL is a shared house that provides help 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We’ll work with you to find the right place to stay. We will also assist you in being as self-sufficient as feasible. Our accommodation selections are spread across metropolitan locations as well as some rural places.
